These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Bal & Co. website and the purchase of products offered by BAL Investment & Advisory, LLC, d/b/a Bal & Co., a Delaware Limited Liability Company registered in Massachusetts. By placing an order or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Products and Pricing
All products are described as accurately as possible, including origin, harvest date, brewing parameters, and ingredients. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice prior to order confirmation. We reserve the right to limit quantities and to cancel any order at our discretion.
3. Shipping Policy
Orders are processed and shipped within 1–2 business days, excluding weekends and federal holidays. Teas are packed in resealable, light-proof packaging to preserve freshness during transit. Bal & Co. is not responsible for carrier delays. Risk of loss and title pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier.
4. Refund and Return Policy
Unopened loose leaf tea tins and sealed packages may be returned within thirty (30) days of delivery. Opened teas and used ceramics or cushions may only be returned if defective or materially different from their description. To initiate a return, contact sr808ana@gmail.com with your order number. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days of receiving the returned item.
5. Tea Freshness & Storage
All teas are sourced and packed to ensure freshness. Customers should store loose leaf tea in an airtight, opaque container away from heat, light, and moisture. Bal & Co. is not responsible for loss of freshness resulting from improper storage after delivery.
6. Tea Finder Disclaimer
Tea Finder recommendations are provided for general guidance and enjoyment only. They do not constitute dietary, medical, or wellness advice. Individuals with caffeine sensitivities or health conditions should consult a healthcare provider before consuming high-caffeine teas such as matcha or oolong.
7. Allergen Information
Our teas are natural plant products. Customers with known allergies to tea plants, botanical products, or buckwheat (found in the zafu cushion fill) should review product descriptions carefully before purchasing.
